Golden Triangle Chapter of the Ninety-Nines
International Organization of Women Pilots

OUR MISSION --The Ninety-Nines is the international organization of women pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.

The Golden Triangle Chapter of The Ninety-Nines, Inc. was chartered October 1, 1969. Chapter Charter Members were Brenda Strickler, our first Chapter Chairman, Diana Barnett, Bobbie Clardy, Berinda MacEacheron, and Vivian "Penny" White.

Our membership is composed of women pilots in the mid-cities area between Dallas and Fort Worth. Our name came from the geographical area bounded by Denton, Fort Worth and Dallas.

Our members have actively served as Section and International Officers, several serving as Section Governor and one as International President. Our scrapbooks are well-known in the Section and document our activities and history.

Our present officers are:
Beverly Stephens, Chairman; Betty Thomas, Vice-Chairman; Geils Hegranes, Secretary; and Shirley Roberts, Treasurer, Mary Wheelock, Membership.

Our current fund-raising project is a cookbook, "We Can Cook But We'd Rather Be Flying," which sells for only $10. Please send your requests to:
